As a Teamsters Credit Union member, you'll get $50 FREE - for every eligible* Teamster member or family member you refer who joins Teamsters Credit Union and opens a new loan*.

Every time you refer a member who joins the credit union and opens a new loan with us, you'll receive $50 and the new member will receive $50*!

Simply complete this form and have the new member submit with their new account forms and loan application. As a thank you, the credit union will deposit $50 into your account and $50 into the new member's account when their new loan is established.

Please mark your calendars for Teamsters Credit Union’s 36th Annual Meeting! The meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 20th, 2010 at our Blaine office and will officially begin at 6:30 PM.

Homebuyer Tax Credit Extended                                                              

President Obama recently extended and expanded the Homebuyer Tax Credit. Be sure to take advantage of the provisions and apply for a first mortgage through Teamsters Credit Union today! 

The extended tax credit provisions are as follows: 

• First-time homebuyers will continue at the $8,000 tax credit
• Tax credit for “move up” purchasers will be up to a $6,500 credit
• Must have used previous home as a principal residence for five consecutive years of the previous eight years
• Income limits increased and are the same for the first-time and “move up” purchasers: $125,000 for single filers/$225,000 for joint filers
• Limitation on eligible home prices has been increased to $800,000
• Time frame: December 1, 2009 – April 30, 2010 plus 60 day extension if binding contract is in place by April 30, 2010

What Information We Collect

We collect nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources:

• Information we receive on applications and other forms
• Information about your transactions with us or others
• Information we receive from consumer reporting agencies

What Information We Disclose

Our staff has access to the information provided by you, but we will not share any information by any member with a third party, unless the party in question is a vendor that provides a service needed to process your request. An example is the credit reporting bureau with which we contract to review your credit file. We will not disclose your name or address to outside companies that want to sell you something.

Our Security Procedures

We store member information files in a secure environment. It is our policy to treat any information collected about you as strictly confidential. We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about you to anyone except as permitted by law. If you decide to terminate your membership or become an inactive member, we will adhere to the privacy policies and practices described in this notice.

Incorrect Address Fee

Please remember to provide the credit union with your new address and phone numbers if or when you move. If your statement is returned to us for an incorrect address and/or if we cannot locate a current address for you, your account may be charged a fee up to $10 per month.

 

Severe Weather Notice                                                                            

In the event of severe weather, the credit union office may close early or be closed.

We encourage you to call us before heading in during severe weather conditions.
